What began as a way to utilize homegrown feed has evolved into a large-scale cattle operation that now feeds and finishes more than 55,000 head of beef across several yards in Southern Alberta.
In 1973, the Serfas family made a strategic decision to diversify their farming operation by adding a feedyard. With the ability to grow their own grain and silage, expanding into cattle feeding was a natural next step.
Today, our vertically integrated approach allows us to maintain quality, efficiency, and responsible management at every stage—from crop production to finished cattle—while continuing to build on the strong foundation established generations ago.
